I would've thought the same a year ago after the attack on Libertas.
I considered other options, but passing the prototype through Nocwich via Thorne's portal and checkpoint guards seems like a good test of what they're willing to allow.

I just use if they refused a bicycle with wheels made of leather and wood i'd be surprised
